Girls' Generation(Hangul: 소녀시대; Hanja:少女時代) adalah sebuah girlband dari Korea Selatan yang debut pada akhir Juli 2007 di bawah bendera label musik dan manajemen artis raksasa, SM EntertainmentFans nya biasa menyebut mereka SNSD atau Soshi, diambil dari singkatan nama korea grup ini yaitu So Nyeo Shi Dae/So Nyuh Shi Dae. Their official fanclub –saya termasuk di dalamnya, hehe J– is known as S♡NE (소원).
There are some reasons why I adore them!
1. Their songs are ear-catch. Most of their songs are composed with such a cute melody and instrument!
2. Their dance. It’s energetic. Cute. Seems never look boring to me.
3. Their outfit is awesome! Preppy school, cute, sexy, elegant, you name it!
4. Their members are dorkable~ Just see their real character at the reality show and you’ll giggled!
5. They have talents! Realll talents!
So those are some reasons why I become one of S♡NE! Other reasons is unspeakable! Hehe

Taeyeon

Taeyeon adalah leader dari SNSD. It is well known that Taeyeon memiliki kualitas suara yang paling bagus di grup nya. Tidak salah kalau posisi nya di SNSD adalah Main Vocal. Di luar aktivitas SNSD, dia terkenal sebagai DJ / announcer di MBC Chinhan Chingu Radio. Selain itu, Taeyeon adalah member SNSD yang pertama kali merilis dan mempunyai single solo. She has solo songs with "만약에" ("If") on the Hong Gil Dongsoundtrack and "들리나요?" ("Can You Hear Me?") on the Beethoven Virussoundtrack. Sebelum debut, dia sudah pernah duet dengan grup ballad ‘The One’ dalam lagu ‘You Bring Me Joy’. Taeyeon dijuluki ‘kko kko ma leader’ atau ‘kid leader’ karena badannya yang pendek dan imut seperti anak kecil dan kelakuannya dorky banget ^^;;
Jessica

Jessica was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She released 2 singles alongside with SeoHyun and Tiffany: "오빠 나빠" ("Bad Oppa") and "Mabinogi (It's Fantastic!)". Jessica also stars in Kim Jo-han's music video "Love is Late, I'm Sorry" and is featured in 8Eight's song, "I Love You".
Sunny

§ Birth name: Lee Sunkyu (Hangul: 이순규; Hanja: 李順圭)
§ Date of birth: May 15, 1989 (age 20)
Sunny was a trainee under a different entertainment company before she transferred into SM Entertainment. After several months of training under SM Entertainment in 2007, Sunny debuted as a member of Girls' Generation that same year. She was a co-DJ ofReckless Radio along withSungmin of Super Junioruntil the broadcast ended on the July 30, 2008. Sunny appeared in Super Junior-H's music video for "Cooking? Cooking!". Sunny also sang the song "Finally Now(이제서야)" on the soundtrack for the movieStory of Wine. She also co-hosts a music show called "The M" with SS501's Hyungjoon.
Tiffany

Yuri
§ Birth name: Kwon Yuri (Hangul: 권유리; Hanja: 權侑莉)
§ Date of birth: December 5, 1989 (age 19)
Yuri joined the label when she took 1st place in the 2001 1st SM Youth Best Dancer Contest. She appeared in TVXQ's "Beautiful Life" music video and had a small role as a ballerina in Super Junior's first movie, Attack on the Pin-Up Boys. She also had a small role in a television segment, "The King's Boyfriend," which was part of the 2005–2006 KMTV Super Junior documentary,Super Junior Show. Yuri also played a part in the sitcom Unstoppable Marriage alongside Sooyoung. Yuri is also the centerpiece of K. Will's music video "Dropping the Tears."

Before Sooyoung's audition to Girls' Generation, she made a brief debut in Japanas a singer in the group called Route φ. She first debuted with Marina Takahashi with the song "Start". She was previously a DJ of ChunJi along withSungmin of Super Juniorbut was soon replaced by Sunny due to schedule conflicts. Sooyoung also played a part in the sitcomUnstoppable Marriagealongside Yuri and was also in a movie with Kang-in ofSuper Junior and actressLee Yeon-hee. Currently, she is the MC of the TV program "Fantastic Duo."
Yoona

Jauh sebelum SNSD debut, Yoona sudah memiliki jam terbang yang tinggi dalam dunia akting dan modelling. Sampai sekarang, puluhan CF dan judul drama sudah ada di riwayat karirnya. Salah satu aktingnya dapat dilihat di drama You Are My Destiny di mana dia berperan sebagai Saebyuk.
